Regular fortnightly or weekly mowing for Sydney homes. Every visit includes mow, edge along hard surfaces and garden beds, and blow-down of clippings. From $75 for small lawns.
Every visit covers three things: mow, edge, and blow. The mow is to your preferred height — we ask at first booking and keep a note. Edging runs along all hard surfaces (paths, driveway, steps) and along garden bed borders. The blow-down clears clippings from paths, the driveway, and any outdoor living areas.
For a standard 300 sqm kikuyu or buffalo lawn in Sydney's inner suburbs, expect 30-45 minutes on-site. Buffalo needs a little more care around edges because of the broad leaf. Kikuyu grows quickly in summer and may need weekly visits in January and February if you want it kept tidy.
If you need a single mow rather than ongoing service, the one-off rate applies. This is approximately 30% above the regular fortnightly rate for the same lawn size. A standard 200-400 sqm lawn is $110-$145 for a one-off visit. No deposit required for one-off bookings under $200.
A lawn that has been left for more than 6-8 weeks usually needs a reset rather than a standard mow. This means multiple passes, a higher blade height on the first pass to avoid scalping, and considerably more green waste. An overgrown reset on a standard 200-400 sqm lawn typically runs $150-$220, depending on how far it has grown.
After an overgrown reset, most customers move onto a fortnightly plan. The second mow is always at the regular rate.
For a standard 200-400 sqm Sydney suburban lawn, regular fortnightly mowing costs $85-$110 per visit including mow, edge, and blow-down. Small lawns under 200 sqm start at $75 per visit. Large lawns 400-700 sqm are $130-$170. We do not charge a callout fee on top of the service price.
During the growing season (September through April), most kikuyu, buffalo, and couch lawns need mowing every two weeks. In winter, buffalo and kikuyu slow significantly and can go three to four weeks. Couch goes nearly dormant and may only need monthly attention in winter. We adjust the schedule with you as seasons change.
All common Sydney domestic varieties: buffalo (Sir Walter, Palmetto, Sapphire), kikuyu, couch, and zoysia. Buffalo needs more care around edges because of the broad leaf. Kikuyu grows quickly in summer and may push you toward weekly mowing in January and February. If you have a less common variety, mention it at booking.
Not usually. For most mowing jobs we just need access to the garden. If there is a gate code or a locked area, add it to your booking notes. We send before-and-after photos when the job is done.
A regular fortnightly or monthly plan is priced at the base rate. A one-off mow — where you book a single visit with no ongoing commitment — is priced at roughly 30% above the regular rate for the same lawn size. This reflects the extra scheduling flexibility and the fact that lawns on irregular cycles often take longer per visit.
Saturday mornings until 1 pm. We do not operate Sundays. Most local council noise ordinances in Sydney allow mowing from 8 am on weekends. We follow those guidelines regardless of which council area you are in.
